A diamond's clarity grade measures its internal and external imperfections - how many and what kind. Mostly microscopic, these characteristics -- also called inclusions -- are most often formed in nature, and may include tiny cracks, air bubbles, nicks, dark spots or blemishes.
How clarity is measured:
Clarity is typically graded on a scale from F, or flawless, through VVS (very, very slightly included), through VS (very slightly included) and SI (slightly included) down to I (Imperfect). Angara's high-quality stones are never less than a SI2 clarity rating, which is an excellent value with only slight imperfections that typically cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Keep in mind:
Clarity does not affect a diamond's fire and brilliance, except in the very lowest grades.
