Angara Guarantees Jewelry of the Highest Quality
Angara maintains higher standards for all aspects of its jewelry than most exclusive jewelers and international brands. Each piece is individually inspected during the rigorously quality control process by members of our staff who have worked for well-known luxury jewelers and the largest siteholders in the world.
Our diamonds are graded by the world's leading certification authorities: the Gemological Institute of American (GIA), the American Gem Society (AGS) or the Independent Gemological Institute (IGI). Many members of the Angara team are also graduates of the GIA.
All loose diamonds come with a GIA or AGS certificate. Pre-set engagement rings and three-stone diamond rings include an IGI certificate. Pendants weighing 3/4 carat or more, and diamond stud earrings with a combined weight over 1 carat also include certificates.
Because we are committed to using only the finest diamonds in our jewelry, our standards are unusually high and surpass those of any other online jewelry retailer. The diamonds selected for use in finished jewelry must meet a minimum color and clarity rating I/SI2 if set in 14 or 18 karat yellow or white gold and H/VS2 if set in platinum. Diamond rings created using our "Build Your Own" ring designer must have a color and clarity rating above I/SI2, with polish, symmetry and cut ratings of "good" or higher.
To make shopping for diamonds and jewelry even easier, Angara has created "The Angara Rating", a 100-point system that uses a proprietary formula to evaluate all of the factors of a quality diamond: color, clarity, cut, culet, fluorescence, girdle size, polish and symmetry. The higher the number, the better the quality. The result is a simple method to find the quality and cost that suits your needs.
Angara is the only online retailer to offer diamonds of exceptionally high quality. Our experts hand-select stones that achieve an Angara rating above 80. Most online retailers offer diamonds that typically earn ratings of 35 to 75. Offline, leading, luxury jewelers sell stones with minimum quality standards that are comparable to Angara's.

We understand that great things come in small packages, so our gift wrap and ring boxes are as elegant and sophisticated as our jewelry. All of our packaging comes in our signature colors of orange and brown and feature the Angara name and sun logo.
Our rich brown boxes are handcrafted from soft leather, and embossed with the Angara name. Most engagement rings come in a smaller box that fits easily into a pocket for surprise proposals.
Strong Box and larger rings arrive in a chocolate, contoured leather case and an orange and brown paper box-both handcrafted in Switzerland. The plush suede interior of the case is framed with a contrasting orange accent and the Angara name and sun logo in silver.
Some items, depending on the size of the item, arrive in orange boxes that are handcrafted in Italy. They feature brown accents and a glossy satin ribbon printed with the Angara name and sun.
Elegant gift wrap is also available and provided at no extra cost. Boxes can be wrapped in a chocolate-colored paper that is imported from France and embossed with a crocodile pattern. The whole package is then tied with an orange and brown jacquard ribbon that is printed with the Angara name.
