This is your first-ever jewellery collection. What drew you to jewellery?
I’ve only ever designed clothing, never jewellery. There’s a lot of sameness out there, so the idea of being able to do something a little eye-catching and different with jewellery felt exciting.

What was it like working with Angara?
My partnership with Angara was very organic. We started by playing with colour—because colour is such a big part of Angara—and then began combining shapes in ways I hadn’t really seen in the market. Angara’s vast resource of stones and in-house talent made it possible for me to push bolder forms and unexpected details.

The collection has two colour palettes. How did those come about?
The blues were instant for me. I’ve always loved turquoise, aquamarine, sapphires—those tones are inviting and look great on everyone. The earthier palette comes from me being a child of the ’70s. I’ve always loved greens, golds, browns; peridot especially. Those colours feel nostalgic in a nice way.

When you look at the full lineup, what stands out to you as its defining character?
It’s the different stone cuts and colours against each other. It’s those little things that make pieces look special and like somebody really thought about it, as opposed to a mass-produced, one-tone situation.

Are there any hero pieces in the collection that are special to you?
The deco-inspired studs and the long layering necklace. They feel cool, different, and easy to wear.

What do you hope people feel when they wear these pieces?
That little spark when you look down and it feels special. It brings you back to the moment you got it or why you bought it—even years later.

As a stylist, what do you think about the role of jewellery compared to clothing?
I think jewellery is different from clothing because it’s with you—it’s on you, it’s in your ears, it’s on your fingers. Clothing changes every day, but jewellery feels much more personal. People wear pieces and don’t take them off for days at a time. Over time, they start to feel like an extension of who you are and I hope these pieces become just that.
