Lee Harris x Angara Brings Bold Forms and Striking Colors to Fine Jewelry

Lee Harris has spent decades shaping how some of Hollywood's most iconic women show up on camera and on the red carpet—building looks where every detail earns its place. He knows what catches the eye, what falls flat and what makes someone look twice. So when he designed his first jewelry collection, he didn't play it safe.
The Lee Harris x Angara collection is built on bold geometry, striking gemstone pairings and unexpected details—mixed cuts that create movement, Art Deco echoes that feel modern and color stories that transform a piece into something personal.
We sat down with Lee to talk about what drew him to fine jewelry, how Angara's gemstone expertise unlocked shapes and color palettes he couldn't find anywhere else, and what he hopes you feel the first time you put one of these pieces on.
A Conversation With Lee Harris
-
This is your first-ever jewelry collection. What drew you to jewelry?
I’ve only ever designed clothing, never jewelry. There’s a lot of sameness out there, so the idea of being able to do something a little eye-catching and different with jewelry felt exciting.
-
What was it like working with Angara?
My partnership with Angara was very organic. We started by playing with color—because color is such a big part of Angara—and then began combining shapes in ways I hadn’t really seen in the market. Angara’s vast resource of stones and in-house talent made it possible for me to push bolder forms and unexpected details.
-
The collection has two color palettes. How did those come about?
The blues were instant for me. I’ve always loved turquoise, aquamarine, sapphires—those tones are inviting and look great on everyone. The earthier palette comes from me being a child of the ’70s. I’ve always loved greens, golds, browns; peridot especially. Those colors feel nostalgic in a nice way.
-
When you look at the full lineup, what stands out to you as its defining character?
It’s the different stone cuts and colors against each other. It’s those little things that make pieces look special and like somebody really thought about it, as opposed to a mass-produced, one-tone situation.
-
Are there any hero pieces in the collection that are special to you?
The deco-inspired studs and the long layering necklace. They feel cool, different, and easy to wear.
-
What do you hope people feel when they wear these pieces?
That little spark when you look down and it feels special. It brings you back to the moment you got it or why you bought it—even years later.
-
As a stylist, what do you think about the role of jewelry compared to clothing?
I think jewelry is different from clothing because it’s with you—it’s on you, it’s in your ears, it’s on your fingers. Clothing changes every day, but jewelry feels much more personal. People wear pieces and don’t take them off for days at a time. Over time, they start to feel like an extension of who you are and I hope these pieces become just that.
Styling Lee Harris x Angara Jewelry: How to Wear Bold Form and Color Every Day
“I didn’t want these pieces saved only for special occasions.”
The bold geometry, the vivid color, the mixed cuts—they're built for Tuesday morning as much as Saturday night.
1. Wear It By Day

Some pieces just work harder in daylight. Start with the multi-color monochromatic danglers—their mixed cuts give them a clean, architectural edge that feels deliberate without trying too hard. Layer in the matching station necklace; its fluid silhouette adds presence without competing, letting both pieces breathe. You can finish with the amethyst ear cuff and bracelet that pick up the color story already in motion, pulling the whole look together through color rather than coordination.
Wear it with summery whites or soft pastels, hair tied up, and let the jewelry do the talking.

2. Turn It Up at Night

A simple dress, like a little black dress, is the perfect canvas—and the right jewelry is what makes it memorable. Reach for an aquamarine tennis necklace—its continuous line and bold silhouette catch the light with every movement. Add the aquamarine earrings for a striking effect; their linear structure, architectural precision and mixed-cut detailing feel effortless rather than overdone.
On your wrist, stack an aquamarine bracelet with a diamond bracelet for a subtle break in the color. It's the kind of stack that works for a night out with the girls just as well as a date night.

3. Your Everyday Stack

This one is about building a look you'll actually reach for every morning. The secret is in the two-color play—amethyst and aquamarine together, cool and considered without being too matched. Start at the ear with amethyst hoops paired with an aquamarine ear cuff; the two stones sit beautifully together, their tones complementing without competing. On your wrist, the multi-gemstone cluster bracelet ties both colors into one architectural moment—mixed shapes and cuts that look like they were collected over time. Finish with an amethyst pendant; its clean, elongated silhouette keeps the palette going without stealing the show.
Wear it with jeans, wear it to the office—this stack moves everywhere with you.

4. Stack It With Diamonds

Any piece from this collection pairs beautifully with diamonds. The bold color and sculptural shapes of these gemstone pieces find their footing alongside the clean brilliance of a diamond tennis bracelet, a solitaire pendant or a classic diamond band. Let the color pieces lead and let your diamonds anchor. It's the kind of combination that looks intentional because it is—two design languages that bring out the best in each other.
