The stone is very clear and well cut with a subtle color - which is why we picked an aquamarine over a sapphire (birthstone). It is beautifully packaged with a gift bag an outer box and the ring box. Imagine my surprise when I opened the ring box and a little light turned on to highlight the main stone! Such a sweet touch. It also came with a certificate which contained the grading details on both the gem and the accent diamonds. About two weeks from placing order to receipt of ring. 100% happy and satisfied.

The setting is thick and protective or the stone,I don't anticipate damaging the the opal when wearing it.
