The AAAA quality opal was worth the extra expense, it has an absolutely gorgeous color play glittering in the sun. The light in the box made for a perfect nighttime proposal, such a thoughtful touch from Angara. Although I didn’t get an engraving, having the option was a plus. Insurance is 100% worth it too!

Although the diamonds on the side are smaller than I imagined, the ring looks like the picture online and is sized accurately. Cons: The ring box comes with a light in it that I imagine drove the price up a little bit. I would've rather gotten a cheaper box for a cheaper overall price The opal I bought was said to be AAAA quality, but the jewelers I took it to said it was probably more like AA-AAA The jewelers both said that the price I paid wasn't a door buster but also wasn't a rip off. So overall, I don't regret purchasing through Angara, it just seems a little misleading that Angara totes the comparison between their prices and retail prices when in reality, they were pretty similar, in my specific situation. Final verdict: Ring looks great, fiancée loves it, and I didn't get scammed. I also bought insurance from jewelers mutual on the ring, $30 a year. I recommend it for the peace of mind. A few things could've been better but overall it was a good decision to go with Angara.
