Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to celebrate!
With a three-year revenue growth of 298 percent, Angara has snagged a spot on the Inc. 5000 list 2023, an annual list that features the fastest-growing private companies in America by providing a data-driven look at their performance within the economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent, entrepreneurial businesses.
ICYMI, Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia and many other household name brands gained their first national exposure as honourees on the Inc. 5000 list. Therefore, ranking #1889 on this esteemed list is testament to our team’s dedication towards the mission of bringing the joy of colour to the world. Moreover, it reflects the level of trust our customers have in us, and that just makes us wanna do a happy dance!
This musing is further affirmed by Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk who states, “Running a business has only gotten harder since the end of the pandemic.” He goes on to say, “To make the Inc. 5000—with the fast growth that it requires—is truly an accomplishment. Inc. is thrilled to honour the companies that are building our future.”
Angara’s Voyage to the Inc. 5000 Roster
While it is the first time that Angara has made it on the Inc. 5000 list, our journey thus far has been dotted with milestones of success.
Co-founded by Ankur and Aditi Daga over 15 years ago, Angara started out with the vision to bring handcrafted fine jewellery that combined the power of creation with the ancient energy of coloured gemstones to its customers. To deal with the issues inherent to the start-up world, Ankur emphasized three key factors – grit, a customer-first approach and a team filled with exceptional talent. In an interview, he stated, “Our shared belief in our mission and our team’s ability to overcome all obstacles provided the fuel to fight.”
Today, Angara stands tall as a global success story. Headquartered in LA, our company is currently present in 15 countries and ships to 64 countries worldwide. What’s more, the accolades amassed by our brand, including the esteemed Best Online Jeweller Award from Newsweek and the 2022 Bizrate Insights Circle of Excellence Award, underscore the brilliance of our journey.
While our 500+ member team has played a massive role in this growth, the allure of coloured gemstones among investors and consumers has certainly helped. As a society, we are celebrating more colour and uniqueness, which is translating into changing tastes—and Angara is here to cater to it. We believe that colour brings out the best in people and our mission is to bring more of it to the world. After all, colour is the language of imagination, possibilities and self-expression, allowing you to fashion your world, your way.
So, here we are… totally pumped by our latest Inc. 5000 2023 list milestone, hoping to transform the jewellery industry and staying committed to our purpose of spreading joy through colour.
Our heartfelt thanks to you for supporting us through our journey!
