Hello Michelle! Thank you for your inquiry. The number of rubies will depend on the ring size you opt for. For example: In ring size 6, approximately 38 square rubies will be set for a 1.50-carat variation. The number of rubies will increase for a larger ring size and decrease in smaller ring sizes. Since these bands are made to order, we will not be able to provide the exact carat weight of the rubies, until the band is completed. As per GIA, VS (Very Slightly Included) quality in ruby is considered as heirloom.
