Hello Ginia! Thank you for contacting us. The most secure type of earring back is the screw back. It has a threaded post and a nut, the nut is spun on to the post up to the back of the ear lobe. With round or symmetrical shaped stones, screw back will always work well. We recommend screw back for high-value earrings. When you select the earrings in the gold and platinum variations the product image shows screw back while the silver variation shows push back.
